Each year we recognize a producer in our area for their outstanding work and commitment to conservation practices in their operation.
Women’s Ag Night and Scholarship
Each year Ramsey County SCD hosts Women’s Ag Night to show our appreciation to all women and wives that support and promote agriculture in our area. The event features a keynote speaker, raffles, door prizes, a silent auction, and a meal. This event helps raise money to award two $1,000 scholarship to two women working toward an Ag related degree. We also honor the hard working women in our community with a night out.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Tickets can be purchased at the Soil Conservation Office or from one of the committee members for $25.00.
Businesses that donate will be featured on our program adn be promoted throughout the night. Your donation helps women in our community reach their education goals. A monetary donation or the donation of an auction items is greatly apprecited.

Women’s Ag Night would not be possible without the assistance of local volunteers. We are always looking for additional help. If you are intereseted in volunteering, please contact th office or another committee memer.
Two (2) scholarship available, each for $1,000.
Eligible applicants are:
- Currently residing in or graduated from a high school in Ramsey, Benson, Eddy, Pierce, Nelson, Cavalier and Towner counties.
- Entering or enrolled in a ND college
- In an Agricultural or related field for either an Undergrad or Graduate Degree
If you choose to attend Lake Region State College, a $250 Bucks for Books will also be awarded to you.
